Our Identity

Roots & Governance

St. Mary’s School, Udharbond, located in the serene surroundings of Cachar District, Assam, is a Christian Minority Educational Institution established and administered by the Catholic Church under the Diocese of Aizawl.

Since its founding in January 2017, the school has emerged as a beacon of academic excellence and value-based education. Rooted in a rich Catholic educational tradition, we are committed to nurturing young minds through a harmonious blend of intellectual growth, moral integrity, spiritual depth, and social responsibility.

Administration

The institution is governed by a Managing Committee, with the Parish Priest serving as Secretary. The day-to-day academic and administrative leadership is entrusted to the RNDM Sisters, supported by a dedicated team of qualified teaching and non-teaching staff.

The Curriculum

Academic Framework

The school offers holistic education from Nursery to Class X, strictly following the syllabus prescribed by ASSEB. English serves as our primary medium of instruction, promoting global readiness and communication skills.

    Hindi and Bengali are integrated into the curriculum to ensure cultural rootedness and regional fluency.

  • Technological Literacy

    Computer Education is compulsory from Class I to Class VIII, facilitated in our fully equipped digital laboratory.
